Albert and Fanny Taylor and their parents

Albert and Fanny Taylor - Albert was born 1st March 1882 under a dray at Bambilla Tank on Mansfield Station near Ivanhoe NSW. His folks were tank sinkers and they travelled from property to property. Fanny was the daughter of Charles and Mary Ann (Rabbitt) Winkless from Tibooburra NSW. They were married in 1910 and had 11 children.
When Albert and his brother Ernest were 13 and 15 years old they were travelling with their father with 2 wagons of wool. Their father became ill and died over the border in q'land. The boys bought Johns body back to his wife Mary Ann in White Cliffs and the wool onto Broken Hill.

John Wyle Taylor and Mary Ann Anderson were married 23rd November 1876 in Corowa NSW. They had 7 children, with only 4 children surviving hard times and maybe typhoid fever.
Mary Ann was the only daughter of Wesley and Sarah Jane (Clarke) Anderson. There was talk that Wesley was an american negro who maybe 'jumped' ship to come out to Australia. Another story states that he was an American Indian Chief.Sarah Jane was a quackeress. Wesley moved to the Ballarat and Bendigo region with the 'goldrush'. Wesley discovered the 'Wormbete Coal Mine' in the Otway Ranges in 1857.

Next week we will trace Laurel Taylor's branch
