David and Brigid's Wedding

Congratulations David and Brigid

A good time was had by all at David and Brigid's wedding in Townsville on Sunday 8 July, 2007.

I didn't take my camera as it was playing up. Perhaps somebody else might like to post some on the Taylor Blog.

I missed you Beck. I am sure you would have had some funny tales to tell about being 6 years younger than Uncle Dave. He cried when you were born because he couldn't understand why mum and dad were calling him Uncle Dave (we were at Alma Park and you were born in Adelaide). Ummmm I remember when he nearly rolled the suzuki with you in it!!! Both of you got a shock. (Tis only funny because nobody got hurt - thank goodness).

For the wedding we stayed at Jupiters Casino. Suzi was particularly keen to have a flutter. Apparently she left the table with the 'table chips' - a big NO NO - her story is that she was going to come back and they ought not have chastised her in front of every one when she did return. Between you and me - on a prior occasion she was so impressed with the 2 x $100 chips she had she was telling all of us she would like to get them made into earings!!! She had fun.

We all enjoyed the climate especially.
