Arnold and Laurel Taylor

Mum and Dad were married on this day 51 years ago in Wilcannia. They had a honeymoon in Sydney. They took their wedding clothes and had their photos taken in Sydney. I think this was the trip that Dad said Mum had heaps of suitcases. They got off the train at one station and Dad got back on to get the other suitcases and - whoose - the train took off with him!!! Mum had to sit on the platform and wait for Dad to catch a train back to her. (I think this was on the honeymoon - I must clarify this with mum).
