Just a quick email to let you know that Dad just returned from Gunnedah where he competed for Cobar in the NSW Country Plate Championships (Cricket), a 3 day knockout and COBAR WON! See above picture with him holding he plate:) They won the smaller towns division where the beat Forbes in the Grand final. They won 3 games in the local rounds to make the Championships, then had to beat a further 2 teams to make the final. They also won $4000 for the Cobar Cricket Club:) Dad made 2 catches and 17 runs....at 48 he still can match it with all the young ones:) Well done Dad!
