Dad's birthday usually fell on Melbourne Cup Day or a day either side of it. This year it is alot further away from the day. He always liked to place a bet. I think I will do that in memory of him. If he is watching over me I hope he gives me some guidance cause I have no idea who is even running in the Melbourne Cup let alone who could win!!!

Onto other matters.....Old Amy Quayle died last week and is being buried in Wilcannia today. Mum and I thought it'd be funny if they bury her beside Fred. He have a chuckle about the 'one legged bearded lady' living next door to him, don't ya think?
