How Lucky Am I
I had a call from St.Johns School yesterday offering me a job.(they heard i am unemployed).The job is a "support teacher" position,working with years 1 & 2 .Helping with reading etc.I have accepted but my tummy does a flip when I think about it.Stayed to long in my last job I think.BUT 3 days a week,school hours & school holidays off.Starts Feb so I can have time to myself for a while.All training provided & the pay is good.I will have to practice not saying shit!!! I am going to school!! next tuesday & wednesday to observe,that way I might not be so nervous come Feb.Well thats my news

Woo Hoo !!!!! That's great news. Give it a go and if you don't like it you can make another choice. But for the moment it is good. I think it would be one of those jobs you either love or hate. Suppose depends on the kids and the
teacher(s). Won't know till you give it a go. Unless you get another job offer and you have to chose.
I'm glad you accepted it! I think it will be a great change for you and you will enjoy the hours and flexibility. A. Jan is right, if you don't think it's a right fit you can always change but enjoy the training and relax...you will be great!
